Are you addicted to Diet Coke?

It’s 3am and I have just woken from my sleep needing my fix, in a sleepy haze, I reach for my old favourite.  Yummy, delicious Coke Zero.

I’m not an addict.

I’m not an addict.

I’m not an addict.

Hospital Experiences Abroad

I was kept in for a few days whilst medical staff carried out their investigation. I literally slept a total of 5 hours in 4 days. The nurses would come in on the hour, every hour, during that period to inject me with things, give me tablets to reduce my blood pressure, do tests and prepare me for the 3 failed CT scans that I would undergo as part of this process.

Has your diet went down the toilet?

January is now officially over which means there are a host of people finding those odd occasions to let the new years diet slip. With this in mind, me and Kirsty went to a restaurant in Seoul recently and found what must be the crappiest cafe in the world.

That’s right folks! If you are coming to Korea on an E-2 visa then it is mandatory to have a medical check within 90 days of your arrival. “Okay, Kirsty. Stop making me cry! What happens?” Stephen and I were brought to a rather nice medical centre in Gyeonggi-do, Ilsan. The place was clean, the staff were friendly and the experience wasn’t bad at all.

Catching an Asian Cold ...

Have you ever sneezed, pooped and vomited at the same time? No? Then try catching a little flu in South Korea. Yay! It has been nearly two weeks since myself and Stephen got struck down with it and trust me, it’s not like a cold/flu you get back home.
